นายไวยวิชญ์ มานะมนตรีกุล หัวหน้าสำนักเลขาธิการ สมาคมวัฒนธรรมและเศรษฐกิจไทย-จีน เปิดเผยว่า สมาคมฯ จะเป็นเจ้าภาพจัดงานเลี้ยงรับรองคณะผู้แทนเมืองต่าง ๆ ของประเทศจีนที่เป็นบ้านพี่เมืองน้องกับกรุงเทพมหานคร ในโอกาสเดินทางมาร่วมงานฉลองความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตไทย-จีน ครบรอบ 40 ปี ในวันที่ 6 พฤศจิกายน ศกนี้ เวลา 18.30 น. โรงแรมสวิสโฮเต็ล เลอ คองคอร์ด ถนนรัชดาภิเษก กรุงเทพมหานคร
นายไวยวิชญ์ มานะมนตรีกุล กล่าวว่างานเลี้ยงรับรองดังกล่าวมีผู้แทนเมืองต่าง ๆ จากประเทศจีนที่เป็นบ้านพี่เมืองน้องกับกรุงเทพมหานครจำนวน 20 คน ซึ่งได้เดินทางมาร่วมงานฉลองความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตไทย-จีน ครบรอบ 40 ปี โดย ดร.โภคิน พลกุล นายกสมาคมฯ และกรรมการบริหารสมาคมฯ จำนวน 20 คน พร้อมกับผู้แทนกระทรวงมหาดไทยจำนวน 5 คน และผู้แทนกรุงเทพมหานครจำนวน 5 คน ทั้งนี้โดยคณะกรรมการบริหารกิจการบ้านพี่เมืองน้อง ของสมาคมฯ ที่มีนายนิคม ไวยรัชพานิช เป็นประธาน จะเป็นผู้รับผิดชอบในการจัดงานเลี้ยงรับรองดังกล่าว
