นายไวยวิชญ์ มานะมนตรีกุล หัวหน้าสำนักเลขาธิการสมาคมวัฒนธรรมและเศรษฐกิจไทย-จีน เปิดเผยว่าในการจัดสัมมนาร่วมไทย-จีน ระหว่างสมาคมฯ และมูลนิธิเพื่อสันติภาพและการพัฒนาแห่งสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน เรื่อง “เส้นทางสายไหมในศตวรรษที่ 21” ที่กรุงเทพมหานคร ในวันที่ 27 พฤศจิกายน 2558 ที่โรงแรมแชงกรี-ล่า กรุงเทพมหานคร ระหว่างเวลา 09.00-16.00 น. นั้น ทางฝ่ายจีนได้มอบหมายให้นาย Li Ruogu อดีตประธาน EXIM Bank ในฐานะรองประธานมูลนิธิเพื่อสันติภาพและการพัฒนาแห่งสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน เป็นหัวหน้าคณะนำคณะผู้แทนจำนวน 20 คน มาเข้าร่วมสัมมนา
